Funded Through Banner

Our Funded Through banner is an easy way to communicate the month through which an owner has funded a given project. When triggered, subcontractors will see a banner on their Overview page that reads, “The project has been funded through [Month YYYY]. All approved payment applications in the funded month will be paid upon full compliance with all required documents and insurance."

While this banner won’t suit every project on the platform, it will suit many. To use the feature, right-click on a project from the Projects tab, select the Funded Through option, and then select the month through which the project has been funded.

Adding More Detail to Invoices For Stored Materials Tracking

GCPay allows subcontractors to add financial values for “stored material” when submitting an SOV on a project. To better help general contractors and subcontractors manage expenses, it’s a separate column that helps isolate the amount of a pay application that is dedicated to this need, which helps with tracking and reporting. GCs can “block” this feature and not allow for stored material billing by having a GCPay support member enable the feature. Conversely, GCPay also allows for GCs to require subcontractors to manually move stored material with each pay application. This feature gives general contractors the ability to track how much material has been installed on-site.

In addition, new enhancements have been made to allow for a more streamlined process for each subcontractor when submitting their backup items for stored materials. Documents such as invoices or images that validate the stored material amount can be required by the GC. The ability to upload these supporting documents is now easier than ever for a subcontractor. Click the button below and then scroll down to read the detailed release notes on "Stored Materials Backup Enhancement".
