ePayments Account Verification Security

Ensuring the accuracy and security of subcontractor bank account information is critical but managing that process internally can quickly become burdensome. As organizations scale, the effort required to verify every subcontractor’s banking detail grows significantly, introducing both operational strain and increased exposure to fraud.

GCPay’s ePayments solution is designed to eliminate that burden entirely.

At the core of our offering is our payments processor, which leverages advanced, algorithmic verification technology to validate subcontractor bank accounts as they are added to the platform. Every new account undergoes a verification process before it becomes eligible to receive payments. This includes confirming that the bank account name matches the subcontractor’s information in our system, an essential safeguard against misdirected payments and fraudulent activity.

By outsourcing this critical step to GCPay, our customers no longer need to dedicate internal resources to manually verify banking details. What can be a time-consuming and error-prone process at scale is instead handled seamlessly in the background, allowing teams to focus on higher-value work.

Beyond efficiency, this approach significantly reduces fraud risk. With built-in verification controls and consistent validation standards, GCPay helps ensure that payments are sent only to legitimate, verified accounts.

Paired with our Waiver Exchange technology, which reduces the friction of collecting lien waivers, GCPay’s account verification capabilities save customers significant time each pay period while enhancing security. Backed by infrastructure that processes over $600 million in electronic payments each month, GCPay delivers a reliable solution that reduces risk, improves efficiency, and simplifies construction payments at scale.

 Discover the Power of Dashboards

GCPay users all have access to a dashboard which can be found in the toolbar on the home screen. Based on user profile/permissions, only applicable items will be visible to each user in the custom dashboard. In addition, each user can have his/her dashboard set as the home page for an immediate view of desired data or metrics. Benefits to the dashboard include:

  1. Real-Time Monitoring: They provide up-to-date information, allowing users to track performance and instantly spot issues or trends.
  2. Data Consolidation: Dashboards unify multiple data sources into a single, cohesive view, eliminating the need to hunt and search for specific data.
  3. Actionable Visuals: By using simple graphics, they make it easy to identify trends, outliers, and areas requiring attention, facilitating faster, evidence-based decisions.
  4. Interactive Exploration: Dashboards allow users to drill down into the data, moving from a high-level overview to detailed, root-cause analysis.
  5. Improved Efficiency & Goal Tracking: They save time by reducing the need for manual reporting and help teams monitor progress against specific business goals or KPIs.

The GCPay dashboard quickly highlights outstanding items related to pay app submittals, lien waivers, or compliance documentation. The dashboard also provides a snapshot of all activities in process regarding each category. This allows users to click on each specific item to begin the required action.

Help Us Spotlight Top Leaders in Construction:

40 Under 40 Nominations Are Open

The future of construction isn’t coming, it’s already here. And it’s being shaped by people in the field, in the office, and across your projects every single day.

That’s exactly what Autodesk’s 40 Under 40: Champions of Construction 2026 is designed to recognize.

It’s an annual, global awards program that spotlights general contractor and subcontractor professionals under the age of 40 who are making waves in the industry, bringing creativity, forward-thinking, and real dedication to the work over the past year.

Not just doing their job, but pushing things forward.

For many, this kind of recognition goes beyond the individual. It shines a light on the teams and companies behind them, too, and the role they’re playing in shaping where construction goes next.

If someone on your team comes to mind, someone others rely on, someone who’s clearly raising the bar, this is your chance to make sure their impact doesn’t go unnoticed.
