Original, Change Order, and Revised Values on Your G703  GCPay now gives you the option to display Original Scheduled Value, Change Orders, and Revised Scheduled Value as separate columns on your G703-style Continuation Sheet.   Instead of displaying only the revised contract amount, this new view makes it easier to see how change orders have affected the Schedule of Values over the life of the project.   Why you'll want to use it: View original contract values, change orders, and revised totals in separate columns on the G703 PDF. Easily see how change orders have affected the Schedule of Values over time. Make it easier for owners, lenders, and other stakeholders to see how change orders have affected the contract. How to enable it: This optional setting is available per project in Project Settings and can be turned on for both new and active projects. When Was the Last Time You Reviewed Your Project Settings?  Every project has unique requirements, and your workflows should be able to adapt. GCPay’s Project Settings let you customize how you manage subcontractors, helping you streamline processes, reduce manual errors, improve collaboration, and support better project outcomes.   One of the simplest, yet most impactful Project Setting is the billing period. GCPay lets you set invoice due dates for any day of the month or choose the last day of the month. This flexibility helps align subcontractor pay applications with your accounts payable schedule or standardize billing across multiple projects and subcontractors. Project Settings can also help improve visibility into your supply chain. You can require subcontractors to enter payment amounts for their vendors, helping ensure downstream supplier costs are accurately reflected as part of the pay application process.   To help keep projects moving, GCPay lets you update your Schedule of Values, Applications for Payment, or Change Orders and send those changes directly to subcontractors for approval. This allows you to initiate updates instead of waiting for subcontractors to make changes based on their own timelines, helping reduce delays and keep the process moving. Project Settings continue to evolve as new features are released throughout the year. The 5-Minute Monthly Checkup Successful billing cycles don't just happen. They're built on consistent processes that help teams stay ahead of deadlines, reduce rework, and keep payments moving.   One of the simplest ways to set yourself up for success is to spend a few minutes reviewing your project before opening a new billing cycle. A quick check now can help prevent avoidable delays later.   Here are four areas worth reviewing:   1. Confirm your billing schedule. Verify your pay application due dates and ensure your subcontractors know when submissions are expected. Clear timelines help everyone stay on schedule and reduce last-minute questions.   2. Review compliance requirements. Check for expired insurance certificates, missing compliance documents, or other outstanding requirements. Addressing these items before billing begins helps avoid unnecessary approval delays.    3. Clear outstanding approvals. Review any pending pay applications, rejected items awaiting resubmission, or waivers that still need action. Starting each cycle with a clean queue allows your team to focus on current work instead of carrying over unfinished tasks.    4. Verify project contacts and notifications. Project teams evolve throughout the life of a job. Taking a moment to confirm project contacts and notification settings helps ensure the right people receive reminders, approval requests, and important updates.   These checks take only a few minutes, but they can help create a smoother billing experience for your team and your subcontractors.
