In this communication, we take a deeper dive into a valuable feature in GCPay that you may not yet be aware of, but could benefit from using!
GCPay Support Can Enable Additional Features
According to a recent NBC consumer survey, 75% of respondents say customer support levels have gotten worse since the COVID-19 pandemic. Largely this is attributed to challenges in hiring and retaining talent in a post-pandemic world. However, The GCPay support team is a dedicated, knowledgeable team that delivers exceptional service every day. And, every month the support team responds to an average of 1800 phone calls, 2000 chats, and 4,000 emails!
Each issue is resolved in minutes, making it easy to understand why they get consistent praise from customers. But, did you also know that our GCPay support team can “unlock” more feature functionality for you?
GCPay has additional feature functionality that goes beyond what a general contractor has access to within their settings. The support team has a list of these feature settings that only they can enable for each user upon request. A few of these additional feature options include:
Editable AFP Numbers – this feature allows general contractors and subs the ability to edit AFP numbers to accommodate unique sequences.
Disabling AFP uploads for a subcontractor – the feature removes the ability for subs to upload backup documents to their AFPs.
Expose EIN information in contractor billing summary report – for additional reporting purposes or owner requirements, EIN is considered Personally Identifiable Information (PII), so this is normally not recommended.
Enable Capped Retainage – Capped Retainage is a retention strategy in which the user can establish a retainage rate for the first 50% of a contract and another rate for the second 50% of a contract. Capped Retainage is sometimes stipulated by state law.
General contractors all have unique operational preferences and GCPay tries to accommodate the ability to customize our product so every user can tailor to their preferred use.
